Givenchy

Givenchy is named after its founder, the designer Hubert de Givenchy, who formed the fashion house in 1952 and was its leader for over 40 years. Only in 1995 did he hand over control, passing the baton first to John Galliano and then to Alexander McQueen. The brand's most famous celebrity consumer was Audrey Hepburn, who wore one of their black sheath dresses in Breakfast at Tiffany's that has since become a cult fashion item. Givenchy also made the perfume L'interdit for Hepburn. The fashion house makes luxury clothing for women and men, as well as accessories, perfumes and cosmetics.
