Skirts, jackets and shorts are shortened as much as possible
The diktat of this summer will be to reveal legs as much as possible with the implacable return of mini skirts and shorts that go from mini to micro. Like the now-famous micro skirt by Miu Miu that took centre stage on the spring/summer 2022 catwalks. The Attico immediately seized on the trend to create cotton skirts with an asymmetrical hem in soft colours, but also in the very bold mood of gold-tone foil-effect cotton. Jackets are getting cropped too, like the Spencer models by Brunello Cucinelli, just above the waist, without buttons, crafted from cotton and linen, but also metallic fibre, for a slight translucent effect. As their name suggests, shorts are becoming even shorter, like the ribbed knitted shorts with a large chequerboard pattern by Jacquemus, or crafted from linen and silk with small check print, revisiting the flair of '60s beachwear.
