Men's fashion for autumn 2020
An innovative reinterpretation of classicism with soft lines and super practical
The 2020-2021 men's fashion shows made it clear that almost all the designers are turning to a contemporary twist that draws on the classic and sartorial styles. For next autumn, men's looks include very soft lines that make garments more practical to wear and provide some urban dynamism. The vaguely retro-cut pants by Off-White are definitely ampler and rest softly on the bottom, whereas Neil Barrett cuts them at the ankle, proposing a more elegant version of cargo pants and their iconic pockets. Knitwear is starting to reflect the trend that for a decade now has dominated t-shirts- that of being rigorously decorated and printed. Prada chooses abstract geometric lines for the sweaters with contrasting colors in acid shades. The coolest sneakers of the moment were born out of the collaboration between Dior and Michael Jordan, and they have already started to be seen in the Instagram profiles of the most famous influencers. The County of Milan by Marcelo Burlon are crafted from leather and feature a chunky sole.
