All the shades of jeans

Distressed, bootcut, skinny and flared: the denim of the '90s is back

The denim trends for Spring/Summer 2022 season are among the most diverse and variegated, in terms of both models- there seems to be a prevailing trend towards wide and oversize cuts- and denim tones and delavé shades. Maison Margiela literally overlaps two pairs, in different shades, and unites them into one with a central seam; they are tightened at the bottom with puff-effect crimps. Bootcuts, which JW Anderson also offers in green, sit softly on the hips and widen at the bottom with a very slight bell-shaped flare. On the other hand, Rag & Bone goes back to basics, focusing on basic and traditional styles with straight-cut models, minimalist, and always up-to-date, in shades of dark blue to black.
