The first Superga's were waterproof boots, designed to improve working conditions in Italy's paddy fields in the early years of the century. The company was founded a little earlier, in 1911 in Turin, and made vulcanized rubber products: from erasers to bicycles and toys. In 1929 they started making fabric shoes with rubber soles which even today remain symbolic of the brand. Alongside shoes for tennis, yachting and gymnastics, Superga offers clothing for those who love a sporting style.
