John Galliano

"My job is to seduce," John Galliano has repeatedly stated. And his powers of seduction are such that he was the first British designer to be made head of a French fashion house, Givenchy. Less than two years later, he was heading Dior. His first runway show for Dior coincided with the 50th anniversary of the brand, on the 20th of January of 1997. Galliano brought his love for theatre and for femininity into the heart of his creations, a stylistic quality that makes his clothes unmistakable from the very first glance.
