Cookie policy

This Site uses cookies. Cookies are text files which the Site stores on a User’s computer in order to ease and improve navigation of the Site itself. Thanks to cookies, a registered User can be recognised by the Site, thereby avoiding, for example, having to go through the login process (with “login” and “password”) every time the User accesses the Site. Furthermore, cookies can allow Users to customise their use of the Site by saving their settings.
Cookies also contain other information relative to how the User browses. Each User has the ability to disable cookies through the software used on their computer to browse the internet (the so-called “browser”). Many browsers are set to accept cookies unless configured otherwise by the User. The Controller invites Users to check their browser settings regarding cookies, and to modify them to their own preferences, bearing in mind, however, that, in order to use certain Services, some cookies may have to be accepted. The technological platform through which this Site is made available to Users, including through cookies, automatically records certain information about the User’s personal computer and their browsing habits, such as, for example: the originating site, the pages visited, the date and the duration of the User’s visit, etc. This information is only used for statistical purposes.
Some third-party cookies can be installed by third parties who act as independent controllers (in terms of processing personal data). In this regard, we invite Users to access the extensive information on these third parties at our site: Awin, Partnerize, CJ Affiliate, Tradedoubler, Tradetracker, Rakuten Marketing LLC, Effiliation.
Interaction with social networks: this involves third-party tools that exhibit ways of interacting with social networks. For example, systems for sharing content on Facebook and Twitter: cookies, in this case, are needed in order for the sharing mechanism to work.

Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics 4 [GA4], a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited. Google Analytics 4 uses “cookies” to help the website analyse how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website (including your IP address) will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity for website operators and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage. Google may also transfer this information to third parties where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process the information on Google’s behalf. Google will not associate your IP address with any other data held by Google. In the case of an anonymous activated IP address, your IP address will only be abridged when within one of the European Union member states or when within one of the agreed contracted states of the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the entire IP Address be transferred to a Google Server in the USA in order to be abridged there. By using this website, you consent to the processing of data about you by Google in the manner and for the purposes set out above.

Google Ads Conversion Tracking

Shoppingscanner applies Google Conversion Tracking. In this context, Google places a cookie on your computer if you reach this website via a Google ad. These cookies expire after 30 days and do not serve any personal identification. If a user visits certain pages of the website of a Google Ads client and if the cookie has not expired, Google and the client can verify that the user has clicked on the ad and was directed to this website. Each Google Ads client receives a different cookie. Cookies therefore cannot be traced back via the websites of Google Ads clients. The information collected by means of the conversion cookie serves the purpose to create conversion statistics for Google Ads clients that have taken a decision towards conversion tracking. Google Ads clients receive the overall number of users who have clicked on their ad and haven been directed to a website with a conversion tracking tag. However, they do not receive any information that allows the personal identification of users. If you do not wish to take part in the tracking procedure, you may decline the required placement of a cookie – for instance with a browser setting that generally deactivates the placement of cookies. .

Users will be notified of any changes and/or updates as soon as they become effective and will be binding from the moment they are published on the site itself.
